Our bachelor’s and master’s programs uniquely combine dynamic social work courses and exciting field education opportunities to prepare students to be professional social workers, one of the most versatile and rapidly growing professions today. Our students are involved in more than 400 public and private agencies that serve Texans. And each year, social work students in field internships provide nearly 200,000 hours of service to communities in Central Texas, across the United States, and internationally.
Our PhD program prepares students to be academicians and researchers, and offers a wealth of opportunities for students to acquire both research and teaching competencies leading to the top positions in the social work field.
