2019 PEP Dinner with the Dean!
The Philanthropy Education Program (PEP) is sponsored by the Development Office at the Steve Hicks School of Social Work and focuses on educating and training students on the basics of development such as fundraising, donor cultivation, event planning, and stewardship. A yearlong learning experience, students will have multiple opportunities to acquire development-related skills and engage with the development team, local development professionals, donors, Dean Zayas, and Steve Hicks faculty and staff.
PEP aims to help students feel comfortable and competent speaking about development and taking on development roles in their future social work careers. This is particularly relevant as many alumni work in the nonprofit area.
